When I started this journey of discovery I studied with spiritual leader, author and clairvoyant Ellen Tadd and remember her teaching, “Love is that which nurtures the growth of another.” Asking myself, “Does this nurture my growth?” has been a faithful test for my relationships, jobs, decisions and life-style.
Love and nurturing are an interplay of giving and accepting. Are you a good nurturer? You personify love when you to let go of judgement, offer just the right word of support, embrace the higher thought, the gentler path, the kinder solution. Are you an open receiver? When love is offered embrace and absorb it fully.
Those who are nurtured and those who nurture are part of an escalating energy of love. Love is the highest frequency that links us with one another and unites us with our creator.
The Beatles said, “The love you take is equal to the love you make.” What you give will come back to you in equal measure.
Second Opinion Exercise: Come into your quiet place and bring an issue you want to explore into your focus. Place your hand on your ear and listen to the dialogue and direction that comes from your brain. Take your time. Next, move your hand down and feel your heart. Ask the same question. Compare the vast difference between the two answers.
